Zjazd Delegatów SDP wyraża oburzenie treścią rezolucji Związku Dziennikarzy Niemieckich z 5 listopada 2017 r. Związek Dziennikarzy Niemieckich rozpowszechnia w niej fałszywe opinie na temat braku wolności prasy i prześladowania dziennikarzy w Polsce. Przypominamy, że wszystkie środki masowego komunikowania w naszym kraju funkcjonują w oparciu o prawo stanowione w demokratyczny sposób, z poszanowaniem zasad wolnych i niezależnych mediów.
Formułowanie kłamliwych opinii oraz ich rozpowszechnianie na forum międzynarodowym jest nadużyciem, które psuje wzajemne relacje między naszymi organizacjami i między naszymi krajami. Stowarzyszenie Dziennikarzy Polskich apeluje do kolegów ze Związku Dziennikarzy Niemieckich o dziennikarską rzetelność przy opisywaniu sytuacji w Polsce.

Resolution adopted by the Polish Journalists Association (SDP) General Meeting, Warsaw, Nov. 19, 2017
The Polish Journalists Association General Meeting wishes to convey its deepest disappointment and regret at the resolution adopted by the German Journalists Association (DJV) on November 5, 2017. The DJV thereby promotes falsehoods about the lack of press freedom and the persecution of journalists in Poland. We wish to take this opportunity to underline in the strongest possible terms that all mass media in Poland operate in accordance with the law, as determined by the democratic process, in an environment fully respectful of the key principles of a free and independent media.
Formulating such falsities, as well as disseminating them internationally, is a misuse of influence that can seriously damage mutual relationships, and the trust that has been built up over the years between our organizations, as well as between our countries. The SDP hereby appeals to its German colleagues; members of the DJV, to apply the highest standards of journalistic credibility in reporting on the situation.
